I don’t think I can put this all into words. I am overwhelmed with appreciation for all Astonish has done for us. I want to give you a recap of some of the high points of Stuart’s visit. Stuart kept everything “real life”. What I mean is that he didn’t ask us to do anything that he knew couldn’t be done. No one was rolling their eyes when he left. He is so upbeat and believable. We all want to succeed at his suggestions. I really feel that from the entire staff. Stuart made a simple suggestion regarding claims handling and presented it to us in such a way that our response was “I can’t see why we wouldn’t do that.” It may not save us hours and hours a week, but it will save us time and serve our clients better. While interviewing the staff he somehow just seemed to get everyone pulling in the same direction. He made people feel at ease and cared about. He recognized their strengths and help me see how to use those strengths and not focus too much on the weaknesses. Stuart suggested a shifting of duties and focus that we think can take a tremendous amount of pressure off one CSR and give another the opportunity to become a part-time CSR and part-time producer. I can’t believe we never thought of this ourselves. I don’t know if the CSR that we want to teach to sell will embrace the idea but I hope so because I think she can do it and prosper at it. He of course suggested some pay incentives to help make all this actually work. He did some sales training that again helped us all get on the same page and presented some seriously awesome techniques in a way that people thought they could actually do it. Lastly, but most importantly, he may have changed someone’s life. One of my CSRs, has been extremely uncomfortable with all of this. In talking with her, Stuart quickly realized there was a lot more to the story. He told her things to do the get her life back on track and start to grow again. He told me I had to show her some love and support. He explained to her how much her attitude influenced the agency and gave her reasons and responsibility to “fake it to make it”. She told us all she felt like she went to a therapy session. I really think Stuart may not only have changed a life, he may have saved one. Mary and Stuart – you are amazing people doing amazing work. Be sure you always keep each other and your family a higher priority than your work. I will recommend you to anyone. Now I need our agency to become a huge success because there is no other way I can possibly repay you all!!!

Just wanted to thank Astonish and Stuart for his visit today. I hope he enjoyed coming here as much as we enjoyed having him. I personally feel his visit was very productive. It got the “juices” flowing and tied a lot of things together. Everyone seemed more inspired and I think this could be a very big step into some significant and productive change.
